HC resumes delivering BDR mutiny verdict

Judges of the High Court today resumed delivering verdict of the death references and appeals in the sensational case of 2009 BDR mutiny and carnage.

Judge Nzrul Islam Talukder read out from the verdict to begin around 11:00am after the three-member bench left the delivery incomplete yesterday.

Justice Md Abu Zafor Siddique, in his observation, said the mutiny posed a serious challenge to the 48-day-old government and a grave threat to democracy and the rule of law.
